Jan Ove R. Ebbestad，瑞典乌普萨拉大学进化博物馆古生物首席策展人兼主管。其个人研究主要围绕早古生代软体动物和节肢动物展开，关注它们的系统学、多样性、古生态学、生物地层学和动物群分布格局，在Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology、Palaeontology、Journal of Systematic Palaeontology等学术期刊发表论文40余篇，著有科学史专著OTTO ZDANSKY——The scientist who discovered Peking Man and explored China's fossil past。
