报告题目:Lasers, Metals & Microbes。讲座将探讨激光加工与增材制造在调控医用植入材料表面特性及其与生物系统相互作用方面的应用,重点包括抑制细菌附着和提升材料性能。同时将介绍其团队在医学诊断与图像分析方面的最新进展,特别是针对血源性寄生虫的自动化检测方法开发。
报告人介绍
Dr. Ryan McFadden, School of Engineering at Ulster University. He graduated
from Queen’s University Belfast with an MEng in Aerospace Engineering
in 2017 before completing a PhD in Bioengineering at QUB in 2021. Following
his PhD, he worked as a lecturer at INTO Queen’s University Belfast from
2021 to 2024, before joining Ulster University as a Lecturer in Mechanical
Engineering in 2024. His research sits at the interface of advanced manufacturing,
surface engineering and biomedical engineering, with a particular focus
on the use of laser-based techniques to modify the surfaces of medical
implant materials.
