Opportunities and Challenges for Aero Engine Development in China

China is striving to catch up with the western world in advanced aero

engine technologies. It is a long and treacherous road. The world, however,

is moving quickly toward more greener and environmental friendly aero

propulsions. Now we must look to the future, and prepare critical technologies

to enable us to compete more evenly on the green run way of the future.

冯锦璋，现任中国航发商发公司特聘顾问，兼任上海交大航空航天系主任，复旦大学讲席教授，香港大学名誉教授及多所大学的兼职教授等职务。历任中国航发商发副总经理、总经理职务，兼任大客飞机发动机副总设计师、宽体客机发动机总设计师、商发设计研发中心主任等。

在国外工作期间曾任美国联合技术公司研发中心主任科学家、空气动力学首席研究员、中国研发中心总经理等职务。具有主持长期科研及短期高强度攻关项目的丰富经验，在航空发动机重大技术难题的攻关、空气动力学计算方法等的研究与应用、叶轮机械的设计和分析方面拥有广泛和深厚的基础。

2013年获中航工业航空报国金奖，2014年荣获中国政府友谊奖。
