The 12th CCS-PD/ACS-PMSE Joint Pre-Symposium is hosted by South China University of Technology as a pre-event to the main symposium in Guangzhou. The academic salon focuses on 'Polymer Materials in the Circular Economy and Other Functional Polymers', featuring presentations from 5 American scholars and 8 young researchers from the Frontiers of Soft Matter College. It aims to strengthen Sino-US polymer academic exchange.

活动名称：The 12th CCS-PD/ACS-PMSE Joint Pre-Symposium at South China University of Technology主 持 人：Stephen Z.D. Cheng、刘冬生、李子臣、董学会、黄明俊活动时间：2025年11月21日8:30—17:30活动地点：国际校区C1-b115 会议概况：中国化学会高分子委员会（CCS-PD）和美国化学会高分子材料科学与工程委员会（ACS-PMSE）自2012年起建立了良好的双边学术交流机制。
今年，“第十二届中美高分子论坛”由中方承办，主论坛时间为2025年11月22—26日广州举办。在正式双边会议召开之前，经中国化学会高分子学科委员会批准，拟邀请美方代表前往华南理工大学前沿软物质学院进行交流访问，并于11月21日举办“中美高分子交流华南理工大学学术沙龙”。
届时，将有5位美方学者及本学院8名青年学者作学术报告。本次交流将围绕“循环经济中的高分子材料及其他功能高分子材料”等主题展开，欢迎广大师生踊跃参加。
