It governs different facets of powertrains including efficiency, durability and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) refinement. Tribological phenomena are in nature multi-physics, comprising thermo-fluid, solid mechanics, dynamics, chemical engineering, materials engineering. This requires a multi-physics approach in investigating, designing and optimizing tribology of powertrain components. This lecture will outline the abovementioned tribo-dynamic in the context of powertrains by providing examples of the past and current research in the field. 报告人简介： Mahdi Mohammadpour，拉夫堡大学沃夫森学院动力学副教授，博士生导师，主要研究方向为汽车变速器和差速器的摩擦学和动力学。于2014年在拉夫堡大学获得博士学位，随后继续在拉夫堡大学从事博士后研究。2018年被任命为动力学高级讲师（副教授）。担任《国际动力传动系统》副主编、《冲击与振动》编委会成员，PMC2016会议联合主席，ICAVP2017会议联合主席，雅典“第七届IC-SCCE”会议主席，Proc. IMechE, Part K: Journal of Multi-body Dynamics PMC2016会议联合主席。迄今共发表60余篇学术论文，曾获IMechE 2014年度最佳论文奖，IOP 2016年度最佳论文奖。
